Hello Future Brides - When it is not in your budget to get a professional make-up artist for your wedding day, sometimes it is up to you to be camera ready for your unforgettable wedding day. Here are 3 steps to make sure that you look radiant on your special day.

STEP 1
Do an at home facial a few days before the wedding. Exfoliate and moisturize and make sure to use products that fit your skin tone. Product suggestions:

Dry skin - Olay mild cleansers are great for dry skin. Try the Olay Skin Smoothing Cream Scrub to deeply hydrate and moisturize your skin or the Olay Pro-X Hydra Firming Cream which helps to optimize elasticity and firmness by plumping and locking in moisture.

Combination/Oily Skin - The St. Ives Fresh Skin Exfoliating Apricot Scrub deeply cleans your face and instantly leaves skin smooth and glowing. When using these product don't forget to moisturize.  I reccommend using the Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer With Sunscreen SPF 15 Combination/Oily Skin.

Women of Color - The AMBI skin care line Even & Clear works wonders! It helps even out your skin from dark spots caused by acne prone blemishes while moisturizing your skin.

If you have any blemishes or your skin is acne prone, find a professional Esthetician or Dermatologist depending on the level of your skin.

STEP 2

To be HD camera ready, before applying your makeup use a primer/base to moisturize and protect your skin. Products Suggestion:

The SmashBox Photo Finish Foundation Primer creates a perfect canvas for foundation application. (Use before applying your foundation). The Urban Decay Original Eye Primer Potion is great! Apply it before your eye shadow for a more vibrant crease free color that will last for 24 hours!

STEP 3
By the time you have completed step 1 and 2, your are ready for makeup application. Use cosmetic lines that compliments your completion. If your wedding ceremony is outside during the day, I suggest going for soft light colors on your eyes and using a brown tone for eyeliner and mascara. After applying your makeup use one of T.S. Faves - the Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Make up Setting Spray that will give your makeup some serious staying power.

*T.S. Tip* If you're taking your wedding photos during the day try a dark smoky eye. This will give your eyes depth and give the illusion that of "endless" eyes. At night, contour your face and highlight your t-zones to create dimensions for a evening shoot.
