This past Thursday at the New York Bridal Fashion Week, THEIA showcased their Spring 2015 collection. Inspired by his ancient Irish ancestors, designer Don O'Neill debuted a gorgeous collection of gowns with lace, glass beads and silver detailing. Amongst the collection was this crop top wedding dress.

Season after season crop tops continue to be a huge fashion trend amongst ready-to-wear designers but, is this trend appropriate for a wedding dress?
My Thoughts: Though a crop top wedding gown may not be for everyone, if done correctly and with the proper theme, I think it could be really cute. I love the design and look of this THEIA two-piece. The top is just short enough to show a little skin without being too risque and the fabric is gorgeous! Personally, I've always envisioned myself in a semi traditional semi princess dress with lots of embroidery, lace and rhinestones but, if you're the modern and trendy sort of daring bride then a crop top gown just might be your perfect fit.
